If your client meets the VA service requirement standards, we will review their unique case facts and create a comprehensive proposal to qualify for the Aid & Attendance pension benefit using a VA Annuity.
1Provide your client’s case facts via e-mail, phone call, or our online quote request tool.
2Upon receiving the necessary information, we will provide you a comprehensive proposal within one business day, along with the annuity application.
3When your client is ready to proceed, simply send us the executed application and funds.
4After we ensure the annuity meets all federal and state regulations, we overnight the application and funds to the insurance company.
5Within 5-10 business days (in most cases), we receive the annuity contract and immediately forward it to your office.
Our VA Case Analysis is completely complimentary and nonobligatory. Our goal is to help you and your clients weigh options for VA eligibility so you can make a well-informed decision. If your client does decide to proceed with the annuity plan, a fee may be due at that time. If a fee is associated with the annuity purchase, this will be outlined in the proposal provided by our office. Fees are based on the premium amount and term of the annuity being purchased.

In some cases, other insurance products may also be recommended to assist in the spend-down of your client’s assets. These products may include Irrevocable Funeral Expense Trusts, Whole Life Insurance Policies, and Long-Term Care Insurance if dealing with a healthy spouse at home. Should your client need to enter a skilled nursing facility and seek Medicaid benefits, we can assist them with two planning options: Selling the annuity or converting it to be Medicaid compliant. Our case assistance doesn’t end once the annuity is purchased. Should your client predecease the annuity term, we can assist with the death claims process. Simply notify our office of the insured’s passing and provide us a death certificate.

A: We are happy to assist your clients with any questions they may have regarding the annuity purchase; however, the elder law attorney is our preferred point of contact throughout this process. Note we are unable to provide clients with legal advice.
